FirstLight Homecare of Western Essex County is seeking a dynamic and experienced Client Care to oversee our company's daily operations and drive efficiency, growth and results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, homecare, process improvement and strategic planning. The candidate will also be responsible for building relationships with referral sources via presentations, face to face contacts, phone calls, meetings, etc. in an effort to increase revenue through direct referrals. He/she will work with other members of the FirstLight team (Scheduler, Office Manager, etc.) to monitor goals as they pertain to billable hours, number of clients, and/or revenue and will report weekly on results and networking activities, revising strategy/plan as needed. - Oversee the day\-to\-day operations of the homecare service, ensuring smooth workflow and high\-quality Client care
- Act as the main liaison between patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and services effectively
- Manage staffing schedules, supervise clinical and administrative teams, and coordinate human resources activities to maintain a motivated workforce
- Implement and monitor fiscal management practices, including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and state licensing requirements
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Build relationships with referral sources
- Process payroll and monthly expenses
- Lead and manage the operations team to ensure seamless execution of business
- Drive business development initiatives to expand market presence and increase revenue
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure favorable terms
- Oversee project management activities to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with overall company
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
- Implement best practices in operations management to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Visit existing referral sources to maintain and grow partner relationships
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a focus on operations management
- Strong background in strategic planning and business development
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement initiatives
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
