Position Title: Home Manager, Nanny, and Personal Assistant
Location: West Palm Beach, Florida (In\-person, commute\-in position)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM (minimum 25 hours per week; additional hours available upon request)
Compensation: $25–$30 per hour, plus federal mileage reimbursement (currently 67 cents per mile)

Overview:
A compassionate, dependable, and faith\-driven professional is sought to join this family as a Home Manager, Nanny, and Personal Assistant. This is a ministry position centered on childcare, household management, meal preparation, and spiritual mentorship. The ideal candidate is a practicing Christian with a genuine desire to mentor a child towards Christ while providing reliable, organized support to the home.
Primary Responsibilities:
School Pick\-Up and Child Care
Safely pick up a ten\-year\-old boy from King’s Academy at 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. Provide nurturing, Christ\-centered childcare in a positive and supportive environment.
Spiritual Mentorship
Share your personal Christian faith and actively mentor Patrick towards following Jesus Christ. Foster spiritual growth, promote positive Christian values, and be a living example of faith in daily interactions.
Homework Assistance
Assist with homework daily, reviewing assignments and preparing Patrick for tests. He attends an academically rigorous school and requires consistent academic support. Patrick is intellectually gifted and benefits from engaging breaks — the ideal candidate will be fun, interactive, and able to keep him engaged during downtime.
Bedtime Routine
Help Patrick prepare for bed and ensure a consistent, timely bedtime routine is followed.
Meal Planning and Preparation
Grocery shop, meal plan, and prepare basic, healthy meals aligned with gluten\-free and dairy\-free preferences. Meals should be high\-protein with abundant fruits and vegetables. Basic cooking skills or the ability to follow recipes is essential. Meals are shared with the family.
Household Organization and Management
Maintain daily organization throughout the home, including keeping countertops clear and ensuring everything has a designated place. Manage kitchen, living room, and office organization. Conduct weekly inventory of groceries and household staples like toiletries, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, and toothpaste, ensuring three backups of all items are maintained. Complete larger organizing projects as needed during extended hours.
Light Housework
Assist with light household tasks, including tidying after the child, dishes, and light laundry for the household. A professional cleaning service handles deeper cleaning weekly.
Office Organization and Confidentiality
Maintain an existing law firm filing and organizational system. Signing a non\-disclosure agreement and agreeing to complete confidentiality regarding all materials in the home office is required.
Transportation
Provide reliable transportation with a well\-maintained vehicle and current insurance. Every other Friday, Patrick will be driven to Daytona Beach and back within the 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM timeframe. All mileage is reimbursed at the federal rate (currently 67 cents per mile).
Required Qualifications:
Practicing Christian with a genuine desire to mentor a child towards Christ. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with good insurance. High school diploma or equivalent; college education or higher preferred. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Cooking ability or willingness to follow recipes. Background check and NDA required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a nanny, household manager, or in childcare. Experience working with gifted or high\-IQ children.
House Rules:
No social media use during working hours. This is a family environment — meals are shared at the table and the kitchen is available for personal use during working hours.

Qualifications:
1\. Genuine Faith: Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to mentor our child towards Christ.
2\. Childcare Experience: Previous experience in childcare or a related field is preferred.
3\. Responsible and Reliable: Demonstrated dependability and responsibility in previous roles.
4\. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and multitask between childcare and household duties.
5\. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both with adults and children.
6\. Patience and Creativity: Ability to engage children in educational and fun activities while maintaining a calm and patient demeanor.
7\. Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing schedules or needs as they arise.
8\. Trustworthiness: Must pass a background check and provide reliable references.
THIS DOES INCLUDE TRAVEL AND EMPLOYEE WILL BE REIMBURSED FOR MILEAGE FOR ANY AND ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES WHILE ON THE JOB. MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
