About the Bush Center:

The George W. Bush Presidential Center is a nonpartisan institution advancing the timeless values of freedom, opportunity, accountability, and compassion. The Bush Center consists of two distinct entities within one building: the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum and the George W. Bush Institute. The Bush Library and Museum holds more than 70 million pages of paper records, 43,000 artifacts, 200 million emails and 4 million digital photographs. It is the largest holding of digital records of any presidential library. The 14,000\-square\-foot permanent exhibit of the museum highlights principles that guided President and Mrs. Bush in public life.

The Bush Center Store serves visitors from the George W. Bush Presidential Museum \& Library, as well as the Bush Institute.

The assistant manager helps plan, organize and manage all areas in a retail location. This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding budgeted goals and works closely with the store manager to communicate needs in order to maintain appropriate inventory levels in books and general merchandise. Job duties include daily cash register operations, merchandise receiving and stocking as well as end of day balancing, answering telephone and email, all areas of customer service and traveling to and operating remote locations when necessary.

The George W. Bush Presidential Center Store is operated by Bibliu, Inc.. We are currently seeking a high\-energy team player to help manage a location at the George W Bush Presidential Center.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop and maintain a good working relationship with store staff and museum staff.

Plan and host regular events at the store and off\-site in concert with museum leadership.

Personnel: Recruit, hire, train and maintain staff at appropriate levels according to company guidelines and budgets.

Education: Two (2\) years of college or equivalent work history.

Experience: Three (3\) to five (5\) years experience in a retail operation. Two (2\) years: supervisory capacity. Point of Sale experience required.
