Bookkeeper/Admin. \ Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant, where your expertise will keep our financial operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will manage accurate bookkeeping practices, support administrative functions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.     • Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks
    • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy of financial data
    • Prepare and process journal entries if trained, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations
    • Assist with balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation tasks in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
    • Support payroll processing and tax\-related activities, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations
    • Generate financial reports, including budgeting analysis and account analysis for management review
    • Manage administrative tasks such as data entry (including 10 key typing), document filing, correspondence, and scheduling
    • Conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data
    • Assist with governmental accounting requirements and non\-profit accounting procedures when applicable
Skills
    • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
    • Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping, debits \& credits, and journal entries
    • Knowledge of financial concepts including budgeting, account reconciliation, and general ledger management
    • Experience with bank reconciliation and account analysis for accurate financial reporting
    • Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and non\-profit accounting practices is a plus
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
    • Strong communication skills for financial report writing and collaboration with team members
    • Attention to detail in performing balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting tasks
    • Ability to work independently while maintaining a proactive approach to problem\-solving
    • Can train some skills
