We are seeking a highly structured, detail\-driven professional to serve as the primary point of contact for our clients while owning the document collection and workflow management process from start to finish.
This position owns the client workflow pipeline — ensuring document requests are sent, follow\-ups are tracked, deadlines are met, and nothing falls through the cracks — so our tax professionals can focus on tax strategy and preparation.

Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients
- Manage all document requests
- Track open items and required documentation in our practice management system
- Set and monitor follow\-up dates and internal deadlines
- Proactively follow up with clients until items are received
- Maintain accurate task statuses and documentation at all times
- Review incoming client documents for completeness and basic accuracy
- Ensure documents are saved to the correct client and entity
- Route technical questions to tax professionals when appropriate
- Maintain a centralized tracker of outstanding client items
- No missed follow\-ups
- Minimal overdue open items

- Exceptional attention to detail

- Ability to manage 50–100\+ open items simultaneously
- High level of personal accountability and ownership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Empathy and care for the clients with an ability to manage relationships and provide a superior client experience
- Comfort using workflow and task management software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and experience with task management (CRM) software.
- Experience working in an accounting, tax, legal, or compliance\-based firm
- Familiarity with practice management platforms (we utilize Canopy)
- Basic understanding of common tax documents (W\-2, 1099, K\-1, etc.)
- Thrives in structured environments
