We are currently seeking one full\-time Medical Records Clerk to join our team.

Starting Pay

$18/hour, with opportunity for growth based on performance and experience

Schedule \& Work Setting

  • Monday – Friday, daytime hours
  • This is an on\-site position (not remote)
  • What You’ll Do

  • Manage and organize patient records within our electronic health record system (EHR)
  • Scan, upload, and file documents accurately and efficiently
  • Process medical records requests from patients, providers, attorneys, and insurance companies
  • Track requests, payments, and required documentation (PHI logs, spreadsheets, etc.)
  • Respond to voicemails, calls, and internal requests promptly
  • Fax and distribute records as requested by providers
  • Retrieve and organize charts from off\-site storage
  • Support clinical staff by locating records quickly and accurately
  • Maintain daily filing workflows (all work completed before the end of the day)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Solid computer and data entry skills
  • Clear, professional communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment
  • Dependable with consistent attendance
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion (HIPAA compliance)
  • Bonus if you have experience with:
  • NextGen Healthcare EHR or another EHR system
  • Medical records or healthcare office experience
  • Work Environment

  • Sitting for extended periods
