Position Summary
The Senior Resident Assistant (SRA) position is a student leader role responsible for providing support and assistance to RLHO Administrators within a housing community comprised of one or more residence hall buildings. This student has been a Resident Assistant and wishes to promote a positive living \& learning environment. The Senior Resident Assistant (SRA) reports to a Residence Life Coordinator.
Essential Functions
Participate in (i) role modeling for student staff, (ii) Department training sessions, (iii) advertising \& promoting residential culture, (iv) on\-call crisis response rotation, (v) troubleshooting resident connection concerns, (vi) operations \& programming follow\-through.
Senior Resident Assistant
- Adhere to all Resident Assistant (RA) expectations \& duties
- Access to upkeep platforms such as Social Media, Housing Inbox, StarRez (limited)
- Assist with residential experience (program execution, maintenance follow\-up, tours)
- Contribute to Administrative projects \& sustainability efforts
- Assist with department processes, data entry \& review, weekly staff meetings, department initiatives \& collaboration, serve on weekday/weekend/holiday on\-call rotation, and office duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, etc)
- Good written and oral communication skills (self\-advocacy, grammar, resident connection)
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and cultures
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
- 20hr Weekly Commitment (15 in\-office, 5 On\-Call)
- Participate in holiday on\-call responsibilities
- May be requested to assist with additional on\-call responsibilities

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Required Education
Current UIW student.
Required Work Experience
Complete two (2\) semesters of employment as a Resident Assistant with RLHO.

Physical Demands
May be required to perform light lifting and have ability to navigate up and down stairs.
