Pay: $20\.00 – $22\.00 per hour

Schedule: 10–12 hours per week

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and reliable Chiropractic Billing Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely billing, insurance processing, and collections. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in medical or chiropractic billing.

Our goal is to ensure all services are billed correctly, insurance claims are processed efficiently, and patient accounts are managed with detail, professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit and track claims through billing clearinghouse in a timely manner
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve discrepancies, including EOB reviews
• Accurately post EOBs in chiropractic practice management software
• Manage collections and follow up on outstanding balances
• Maintain and work aging reports to ensure timely reimbursement
• Assist patients in understanding insurance benefits and billing questions
• Ensure accurate invoicing and distribute statements electronically or by mail
• Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing issues
• Maintain accurate financial and patient records

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Previous experience as a billing coordinator or in a similar medical billing role
• Knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance claims, and collections
• Familiarity with ICD\-10 coding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
• Experience with ChiroTouch EHR chiropractic or medical practice management software (required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Required Education \& Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical or chiropractic billing
• Minimum 2 years of ICD\-10 experience
