Community Development Program Assistant

Schedule: Monday \- Thursday, 34 hours per week, XX weeks per year
Employment Type: Year\-Round Full\-Time
Pay Rate: $23\.23 \- 29\.51 per hour
Summary: The Community Development Program Assistant provides an advanced level of support for the Community Development Department and oversees the general operation of the Community Development office functions and assists with program administration.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education:
Required associate degree in business, finance, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of administrative, office or customer service experience; prior experience supporting managers or teams. Familiarity with standard office procedures and systems. Three plus years’ experience in Microsoft Office or similar tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); use of various internet and communication tools, database, and management information systems software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist program staff with implementation of department programs/trainings and provide support requested by Community Development managers.
- Maintain all staff contact lists, resumes, head shots and bios.
- Intake and assist with preparing and maintaining loan documents for various departmental loan funds.
- Responsible for mailing annual customer satisfaction survey and compiling responses received.
- Coordinate and perform various administrative tasks and data entry functions as needed for the department.
- Respond to routine inquiries regarding Community Development programs and activities.
- Assist with event planning, meeting logistics, and travel logistics.
- Other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor.
- Must submit to initial and/or periodic state and/or federal criminal checks.
- Must submit to initial and periodic drug and alcohol testing.
