Position Summary:
The Donor Services Specialist provides essential support to the Donor Services team by handling routine donor transactions, pledge processing, and assisting with customer inquiries. As a specialist position, this role is focused on executing assigned tasks within established processes, exercising discretion to identify errors, resolve routine issues, and escalating exceptions as needed.
Responsibilities:

* Payment Processing
- Process payments from the UMB Daily Deposit Log.
- Reconcile payment batches and identify discrepancies for resolution or escalation.
- Complete Donorbox and Stripe Reconciliations.
- Assist with resolving write\-in designations by updating GAUs in EmpowerPack when an agency record exists.
- Support donor and agency communications by preparing donor correspondence and following up with agencies to obtain incomplete or missing information.
- Assist with updating agency data from EmpowerPack to the accounting system to ensure accurate information prior to payout.
- Respond to donor and internal staff inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Assist with donor communications related to payments and statements.
- Monitor and organize the UWGKC Finance inbox.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and ?nancial software.
- Some college or associate degree preferred.
- 1\-2 years of experience in customer service, data entry, or ?nance\-related work.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data handling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to financial systems.
- Effectively manages multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast\-paced environment.
- Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service–oriented approach.
- Regularly handles sensitive donor financial information and must maintain strict confidentiality.

§ Create daily deposit logs and batches.
§ Process payments (and opportunities as indicated) received, ensuring proper allocation to donors and company accounts.
