This position is in a machine shop environment and requires a team\-oriented individual who will set up and operate CNC mill machinery. You will also support various processes to produce parts for the aerospace industry.

What You Will Do:

• Operation of CNC mills and other manual equipment.
• You will be expected to set\-up and run machines on a wide variety of operations that convert raw materials to precision semi\-finished goods within print tolerance specification.
• Make offset adjustments as needed to maintain engineering specifications.
• You will be required to obtain Certified Operator certification through on\-the\-job training \& testing.
• Maintain proper condition of measuring instruments
• Maintain proper cutting conditions on machining centers
• Meet or exceed required output hours
• Use fixtures or gauges to verify accomplish dimensional checks.
• Performs other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary.
• Communicate with co\-workers and supervisors to coordinate activities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Ability to learn to read and interpret engineering drawings as well as understand basic work instructions for product fabrication
• General knowledge, skills, and understanding with hand and power tools to include, rotary tooling, sanding devices, manual deburring tools, wrenches, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic PC skills for data entry, timecard and production time entries
• Basic understanding of precision measuring and fixed gauge equipment (micrometers, calipers, electronic height gauges, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of shop math skills.

The hourly range for this role is $17\.13 \- $25\.00\. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
