This position is eligible for telework, and OSHR is currently offering a three\-day in and two days remote hybrid schedule.
RECRUITMENT RANGE: $96,513 \- $130,000
The OSHR General Counsel’s office provides legal and policy advice to the OSHR Director, Executive Management, and divisions.
What You’ll Do
In this dynamic role, you will work as a part of OSHR’s legal team to advise and consult with OSHR’s divisions and program areas on a variety of matters.
- Provide legal support and consultation to OSHR in connection with employee
- Conduct trainings for HR professionals and other state personnel as needed.
- Provide legal advice to OSHR Director, Executive Management, and divisions
- Work with Attorney General’s Office to coordinate legal strategy and responses.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Education and Experience

Licensed to practice law by the North Carolina State Bar, with three years of progressively responsible professional legal experience.
