Summary: The position of Accounting Assistant at Center for Clinical Studies (CCS) involves providing support to the Accounting Coordinator. The individual must have great attention to detail and must have the ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision. The ability to prioritize work, use effective time management, collaborate and be proactive are essential to the role.

Salary: $40,000\-$50,000 annually, based on experience.

Duties
- Assist Accounting Coordinator \& Director with projects.
- Enter and code financial transactions.
- Research, validate and gather receipts or patient data needed for bills or invoicing.
- Assist with identifying and resolving discrepancies on bills or invoices for multiple companies.
- Clerical duties as assigned.
- Perform quarterly checks for accuracy in QuickBooks and Reveal.
- Assist with annual 1099 reporting.
- Box\-up accounting files for on\-site and off\-site storage.
- Additional duties as required.
- 2 to 3 years of Bookkeeping experience REQUIRED
- 2 to 3 years of QuickBooks experience REQUIRED
- 2 to 3 years of work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk REQUIRED
- High School diploma or GED REQUIRED
- Minimum Associates Degree in Accounting/ Business/ Finance REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and must be a team player.
- High level of problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to continuelly adapt and learn new procedures and software programs.
- Understand the importance of confidentiality.
- Ability to receive constructive criticism in a positive manner.
- Well\-developed verbal, listening, and written communications skills
- Proficiency using Excel and Windows Operating System
- Ability to lift boxes weighing between 15 – 30 pounds.
- Work is normally performed in an outpatient clinic environment.
- Training and working at other locations or on weekends may be required. No mileage reimbursement.
- Occasionally, employees may be required to work weekends.
