Legal Assistant/Intake Specialist Job Description
This isn't a one\-dimensional role. As our Legal Assistant and Intake Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for new clients and a key member of the litigation support team — organized, people\-focused, and always a step ahead.
We are seeking a Legal Assistant/Intake Specialist who can give our clients the outstanding service on which we pride ourselves. Ideal candidates will have the ability to learn quickly, who can answer a large volume of calls, route them to the appropriate person, assist with problem solving as needed, screen and set up and follow\-up on appointments from potential clients, follow\-up on cancelled appointments and payment plans, filing, and processing mail and e\-mail. The desirable candidate will be someone who is willing to work in with our entire team, who is willing to take on new challenges and is committed to providing clients with the best possible experience.
Responsibilities include:
\- Assist clients with onboarding process;
\- Providing clerical and administrative support to various teams, when required; and
\- Other duties/tasks as assigned.
Skills and experiences required:
- Possess outstanding communication skills and sense of empathy
- Must be detail\-oriented and able to multi\-task
- Fluency in English
- Data entry experience and accuracy
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Word
- Excellent attendance record
- Strong time management skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Word, ability and willingness to learn new software and online filing/billing systems
- Proficiency in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other virtual communication methods
- Experience with Windows 10 is a plus but not required
- Basic working knowledge of how to save, transfer, and reproduce large quantities of files on a regular basis across different mediums (shared server/CDs/Flash Drives/etc.)
- Law firm experience is a plus. We are seeking a high\-character individual with a good work ethic and excellent references.

Salary: Salary is commensurate with skill and experience and is negotiable.
