BKA PLLC is a growing mobile primary care practice seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant / Care Coordinator to manage and expand a patient panel across Tucson and surrounding areas.
This is a flexible, hybrid (50/50 virtual / mobile) 1099 role with strong earning potential tied directly to your patient panel.

- Meaningful, relationship\-based care vs rushed visits
- Paid monthly based on active patient panel
- 3–5 new patients added weekly
- Earnings increase as your panel grows
- Part\-Time (40–60 patients): $1,600–$2,400/month
- Full\-Time (80–120 patients): $3,200–$4,800/month
- Patient panel grows steadily with estimated 3–7 new patients added weekly

- Manage and grow assigned patient panel
- Perform monthly insurance verification
- Medication management \& reconciliation
- Follow up after specialist visits (cardiology, etc.)
- Track treatment plan changes
- Conduct in\-person visits as needed (not all patients require monthly visits; frequency may be every 2–3 months depending on patient needs)
- Act as a telehealth liaison, coordinating and preparing patients for virtual visits with the provider
- Ensure patients/facilities have needed care \& supplies
- Coordinate care between visits
- Document in EMR
- Meet FNP Fahle onsite (patient location) PRN for procedures e.g., punch biopsy's, lab work, ear irrigation, stiches etc. and helping with dropping off specimens PRN to various LabCorp locations around Tucson.
- Primarily geriatric/palliative/hospice patients in various settings (private homes, facilities, care homes etc.)
- Requires patience, compassion, and strong communication skills
- Led by a dedicated Nurse Practitioner/Owner who is passionate about improving healthcare delivery and management style has been admired for encouraging and helping others grow to their fullest potential.

- Monday: High follow\-ups (hospital discharges, urgent needs)
- Tuesday: New patient onboarding \+ EMR setup
- Thursday: Specialist follow\-ups
- Friday: Light day \+ cleanup
- Medical Assistant experience required
- Must live in Tucson, AZ
- Experience with Practice Fusion STRONG PLUS
- Experience with GeriMed a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a hybrid model
- Willingness to complete TB skin test if not current
- Previous experience with primary care, office or mobile a STRONG PLUS
- Must have a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card in good standing

Compensation
* $40 per patient, per month with annual raises and bonuses

Growth Timeline (What to Expect)
* Month 1: Lower earnings while onboarding patients (\~15–30 patients)
* Month 2–3: Reaching part\-time range (\~40–60 patients)
* Month 3–5: Reaching full\-time range (\~80–100\+ patients)
Initial onboarding phase is more time\-intensive, but becomes more efficient as patients are established.
Schedule
* Create your own schedule within: Monday–Sunday, 8 AM – 5 PM MST
Work Style
* \~50% Virtual (calls, telehealth, coordination)
* \~50% In\-person (homes/assisted living as needed)
* 1 in\-office day per week required
Responsibilities
* Follow up with all new patients within 72 hours of initial service to confirm they are home, stable, and do not need anything additional
