This is a fully remote job. 20\-30 hours a week.
Looking for someone who can work during the day on weekdays. It could be 10\-4, 11\-2, or 12\-6, etc. whichever works for you. I am flexible but need someone reliable.
I am a startup company seeking a smart, friendly, detail\-oriented individual to join my team as a receptionist who assists callers with the letter they received for unclaimed funds and, in\-between calls, also is a "Locator".
A locator finds companies (active and inactive) and people (heirs to deceased people\-searching obituaries and sometimes court records) who are owed unclaimed money. You search for them on the computer using the resources I provide and then enter their information into a google spreadsheet.
You will need two computer monitors.
\`\`\`Responsibilities\`\`\`
\- Answer calls and assist callers through the claims process
\- Research accounts and match owners to the appropriate address and name
\- Enter data into google spreadsheet
\-Add additional accounts and amounts (using excel formulas)
\- Verify data and correct any errors or inconsistencies
\- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
\- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
\`\`\`Requirements\`\`\`
\- Ability to understand complex rules, statutes, and forms (FL intestate probate rules) \-\-I will teach you but you need to be able to learn it well enough to explain it to the customers.
\- Great on phones and talking to customers
\- Proficient in Google Sheets (excel on google)
\- Strong typing skills and accuracy in data entry
\- Basic math skills for calculations and data analysis (functions on excel are ideal)
\- Excellent attention to detail
\- Ability to work independently
This is a W\-2 position with paid holidays and PTO.
Pay: $17\.00 \- $20\.00 per hour
