The Utah State Tax Commission is currently seeking seasonal employees to work the upcoming 2026 tax season.
All positions require a written/typing test.

Principle Duties
The Financial Operations Division is looking for a Seasonal mail room clerk to perform the following duties:
- extract and sort incoming mail
- lift up to 36 pound mail trays frequently
- Starting salary is $13\.00/hour
- key from image of tax returns
- verify or correct data lifted information
- Starting salary is $13\.00/hour
- Scheduled hours for the position, Monday \- Friday, 40 hours per week:
- Mail room clerk \- 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Data entry clerk \- 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Financial Operations Division is looking for a Seasonal data entry clerk to perform the following duties:
