*Nature of Work in this Position:
- The primary responsibility of this position is to provide information and give assistance to include but not limited to personal home / automobile / home \& auto insurance coverage needs to new and/or existing customers by using basic knowledge of insurance policy issuing procedures within the company underwriting guidelines.
- Conducts courtesy calls to customers for renewal.
- Reviews, prepare quotations and processes new or renewal policies.
- Obtains signature on required documentation, issue payment agreement, prepare payment routing slip, and generate insurance cards.
- Inputs new or renewal polices and endorsements into the AS400 system.
- Print and sorts policies and endorsements for distribution.
- Provides policies and endorsements to financial institutions.
- Sends out member notices, policies and endorsements.
- Assists customers with inquiries to include the processing of claims.
- Gather, review and prepares payroll authorization / cancellation forms and bank drafts for financial institutions.
- Files personal records of insurance transactions and maintain policy file folders.
- Relabel, create file folders, and files policies.
- Maintains member contact for renewals.
