    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    Responsibilities

  • What you’ll do

  • Create, maintain, and bill assigned water, wastewater, and stormwater accounts to ensure customers are charged accurately and on time
  • Process customer move\-ins and account updates so service transitions are handled smoothly and without billing errors
  • Apply rates, taxes, and charges correctly to protect billing integrity and departmental revenue
  • Review and resolve billing and meter reading exceptions to prevent customer disputes and service issues
  • Process water and sewer permits while maintaining accurate meter inventory records
  • Collaborate with a team of billers to manage a high volume of accounts and monthly billing cycles

If appointed, non\-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
