- Create, maintain, and bill assigned water, wastewater, and stormwater accounts to ensure customers are charged accurately and on time
- Process customer move\-ins and account updates so service transitions are handled smoothly and without billing errors
- Apply rates, taxes, and charges correctly to protect billing integrity and departmental revenue
- Review and resolve billing and meter reading exceptions to prevent customer disputes and service issues
- Process water and sewer permits while maintaining accurate meter inventory records
- Collaborate with a team of billers to manage a high volume of accounts and monthly billing cycles
- Accounts are billed accurately with minimal corrections or rework
- Customer move\-ins and account changes are processed efficiently and correctly
- Billing and meter exceptions are resolved promptly and documented clearly
- Policies and procedures are followed consistently to ensure compliance
- You can manage a high workload while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Exposure to large\-scale billing operations supporting over 165,000 customer accounts
