Duties
- Assist attorneys with legal research using Westlaw, and other legal research tools to support case development across various practice areas such as estate planning, business and real estate law.
- Prepare and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
- Manage legal case files and document management systems like Clio to ensure accurate organization and easy retrieval of case information.
- Conduct thorough document review, data entry, and proofreading to uphold the highest standards of accuracy in all legal materials.
- Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling interviews with clients or witnesses, and maintaining organized workflows for multiple cases.
- Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, handling phone inquiries with professionalism, and performing clerical tasks such as filing and data entry.
- Assist with client interviews and intake processes to gather pertinent information for various legal matters including personal injury claims, workers’ compensation cases, landlord\-tenant disputes, or family law issues.
- Paralegal experience or relevant legal administrative experience demonstrating familiarity with law office operations.
- Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms.
- Knowledge of diverse practice areas such as estate planning, business and real estate law.
- Proficiency in legal case management software including Clio Manage and SharePoint.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting memos, reports, contracts, and correspondence with clarity and professionalism.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast\-paced environment.
- Superior clerical skills including filing, data entry, document management systems operation, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions.
