- Serve as a first point of contact for students and visitors in person, by phone, and online
- Assist military\-connected students with general questions related to benefits, enrollment, campus resources, and university processes
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, and maintaining records
- Help support certification processes for VA education benefits under staff supervision
- Support student veteran programs, events, and outreach activities
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling student information
- Refer students to appropriate campus or community resources when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Veterans Center operations

- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Job Description
Position Summary
The Part\-Time Veterans Center Student Support Assistant provides frontline support to military\-connected students, veterans, and their family members. This role assists with daily office operations, student services, and basic administrative tasks while helping ensure a welcoming, supportive environment within the Veterans Center.
Key Responsibilities
Shift
Flexible – Monday\-Friday, between the hours of 8am\-5pm. Work location is in\-person on the Mizzou campus.
Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary

Salary: $17 hourly
