About the Role
I’m a high\-volume, independent insurance agent working with clients across all 50 states. I’m looking for a sharp, resourceful, and highly capable assistant who can operate like an extension of me — someone who is excellent on the phone, tech\-savvy, and thrives in a fast\-moving environment.
This is not a basic admin role. Think more along the lines of a hybrid between an account executive, sales assistant, and operations support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handle inbound and outbound client calls professionally and confidently
- Assist with ACA (HealthSherpa) and Medicare client support
- Look up and manage client policies, applications, and account details
- Navigate multiple systems/logins efficiently (ACA, carrier portals, CRM, etc.)
- Support day\-to\-day operations and help keep workflows moving smoothly
- Follow up with clients, answer questions, and provide clear guidance
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks
- Is excellent on the phone (clear, confident, personable, and persuasive)
- Has strong sales instincts and knows how to handle conversations
- Is tech\-savvy and fast on the computer (can multitask across systems easily)
- Has common sense and good judgment
- Is resourceful and can figure things out without constant direction
- Is reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Learns quickly and improves steadily
- Can operate in a flexible, sometimes unpredictable environment
- Stays calm under pressure and handles volume well
- Ability to work across health insurance systems and client data platforms
- It is a bonus to have multiple state health insurance licenses to support broader access across ACA and Medicare clients
- It is also a bonus to have a strong understanding of the ACA market in health insurance
- Proven experience with:
- Ability to securely handle sensitive client health insurance data and confidently navigate multiple back\-office systems
- Spanish and/or Russian language skills
- Prior experience supporting a high\-producing insurance agent or agency
- Familiarity with:
- Carrier portals
- CRM systems
- Call handling platforms
- Flexible schedule
- Professional development assistance

Strongly Preferred
Pay: $18\.00 \- $29\.05 per hour
