Yellow Chair Collective / Nabi Family Therapy is looking for a clinical supervisor (LCSW, MFT, or Licensed Psychologist) to join our team! The position can be 100% remote although we would prefer someone who is near or located in the greater Los Angeles area, CA.
Yellow Chair Collective practice focuses on mostly providing services to Asian Americans (APISA / Asian Pacific Islander South Asian) so we ask applicants to have familiarity or/and knowledge about Asian culture \& race\-based stress/trauma work. We are open to hiring new supervisors.
The position will be therapist \+ supervisor position (25\-27 clinical/supervisory hours per week \+ admin hours) totaling 32 hours/week.
Bilingual in any Asian language (e.g. Korean, Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Thai, Hindi, Urdu, etc.) highly encouraged to apply!
Start date will be TBD to confirm supervisior qualification and completion of supervisory insurance credentialing process.
JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Supervisor \& Licensed Therapist is responsible for overseeing clinical operations and staff within the psychotherapy practice while maintaining an active client caseload. This key leadership role ensures the delivery of high\-quality mental health services, supervises clinical staff, and maintains adherence to professional standards and all applicable regulatory requirements. The Clinical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in staff development, program evaluation, and the continuous improvement of clinical practices.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Supervision of Clinical Staff
- Provide ongoing supervision, training, and mentoring to a team of mental health professionals, including Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSWs) and Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFT) in accordance with Board and Behavioral Sciences criterias.
- Conduct regular weekly supervision sessions to review case management, discuss complex cases, and provide clinical guidance.
- Evaluate staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a supportive and effective clinical team.
- Ensure all clinical services meet high standards of quality and are in compliance with current laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Monitor and review clinical documentation and records for accuracy and completeness.
- Support implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures to enhance clinical efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Identify training needs and organize training sessions to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in psychotherapy and incorporate this knowledge into staff training and clinical practices.
- Contribute to organizational thought leadership and training initiatives, including the delivery of a minimum of four (4\) webinars or workshops annually.
- Assist in the development of new clinical programs and services, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Conduct regular program evaluations to assess effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance client outcomes.
- Provide leadership and expert guidance in managing clinical emergencies and crises.
- Support clinical staff in handling managing high\-risk cases and complex clinical situations.
- Collaborate with department leadership and management to align clinical services with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including community agencies and healthcare providers, to enhance service delivery and client care.
- Maintain an active client caseload on average of 18 per week.
- Perform other duties, responsibilities, or projects as assigned, in accordance with business needs and organizational priorities.
- Annual salary of $80,000 to 90,000
- Full\-time schedule based on a 32\-hour workweek

- Advanced degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensed to practice in the relevant field (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) in the state where the practice is located.
- Significant clinical experience, including a minimum of five years in a supervisory or leadership role within a mental health setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and supervise clinical staff.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
