What You Will Be Doing:

Authoring and Sustainment of F\-35 Weapons Loading Joint\-Services Technical Data (JTD) including, but not limited to:

Weapons Loading / Flight Series Data includes, but is not limited to:

  • Normal and Emergency Weapons Series Data Procedures
  • System Descriptions
  • JTD Scheduling, Statusing, Development of Plans, and Quality Metrics
  • Development and sustainment of JTD products resulting from engineering changes, new business development, customer generated change requests, Loading Manual Review Conferences, and weapons certifications
  • Verification Support of JTD, including desk top analysis and actual performance verifications (on and off\-site)

    Basic Qualifications:

    Candidate must have experience using flight / weapons loading technical manuals.

  • Extensive knowledge of fighter aircraft weapons, weapons systems, and weapons support equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge using technical orders, maintenance instruction manuals, engineering data, and/or publications supporting operation and maintenance of military aircraft weapons systems
  • Desired Skills:

  • This experience should include but not be limited to:

o Working knowledge of weapons loading and unloading

o Air\-to\-air missiles loading and unloading

o Gun system loading and unloading

o Countermeasure loading and unloading

o Aircraft weapon system checkout procedures

o Alternate Mission Equipment installation and removal

Experience in SGML/XML authoring systems is desired. Candidate should be able to read and interpret engineering documentation and component installation drawings. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel. Proficient presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
