About the Role
Highstreet is seeking a hands\-on Financial System Manager to own and operate the core Finance \& Accounting application ecosystem including NetSuite (ERP), Oracle EPM / Essbase (planning and reporting), Tipalti (AP automation \& payments), and Concur (expense \& travel). This role ensures financial systems are reliable, secure, well\-controlled, and continuously optimized to support a fast\-scaling insurance brokerage environment. You will manage day\-today administration, user access and security, configurations, integrations, change management, and serve as the primary liaison with system vendors—reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Administration \& Governance
- Serve as primary admin for Oracle suite of applications including NetSuite, Tipalti, and Concur: roles/permissions, configurations, workflows, allocation schedules, saved searches/reports, forms, dashboards, and approvals.
- Establish and enforce segregation of duties (SoD), least\-privilege access, and audit\-ready controls (SOX\-lite or SOX, as applicable).
- Own user lifecycle management (provisioning, deprovisioning, periodic access reviews) and SSO integrations (Okta/Azure AD, MFA).

- Partner with Accounting to stabilize and accelerate month/quarter close: reconciliations, GL posting accuracy, intercompany, and fixed assets configurations.
- Ensure AP workflows (Tipalti) are compliant and efficient: vendor onboarding (W\-9/W\-8, TIN matching), invoice ingest/3\-way match (if applicable), approvals, payment runs (ACH/wire/check/FX), and 1099/1042\-S support.
- Oversee credit card feeds, allocation processing, and GL mapping to NetSuite.
- Align NetSuite accounts and structure with reporting environment (NSPB)
- Provide assistance with Essbase coding and troubleshooting processes within the system.
- Manage Zendesk ticketing and workflow optimization in collaboration with other Departments as necessary.
- Manage and monitor integrations among NetSuite, NSPB, Tipalti, Concur, payroll, banking, data warehouse and any other applicable systems, including reconciling between systems.
- Build/maintain saved searches, scheduled reports, and KPIs for Accounting leadership.
- Optimize system architecture and dataflow between systems.
- Own data quality: master data governance (vendors, chart of accounts, items, entities), data imports (CSV), and periodic clean\-up.
- Document processes, configurations, and controls; maintain an up\-to\-date Admin Runbook and Controls Matrix. Ensure all are scalable for growth.
- Support internal/external audits: evidence collection, walkthroughs, and remediation tracking.
- Implement change management: impact assessment, approvals, testing/UAT scripts, release notes, and rollback plans.
- Act as the product owner for F\&A systems: backlog grooming, prioritization, and delivery of enhancements.
- Evaluate new modules, features, and add\-ons to support scale and M\&A.
- Manage system vendor relationships (SLAs, support cases, escalations), renewals, and license optimization.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support; triage and resolve incidents, escalate to vendors when needed.
- Create concise how\-to guides, policies, and training sessions for end users and approvers.
- Champion standardization and simplification across entities and acquired businesses.
- 4–7\+ years of hands\-on administration across NetSuite, Tipalti, and Concur (at least two required; strong intent to own all three).
- Proven experience with financial processes: GL, AP, AR, expense management, purchasing, fixed assets, tax, and multi\-entity.
- Strong understanding of controls (SoD, access, change management) and audit support.
- Experience with integrations (iPaaS or native), APIs, CSV imports, and data transformations.
- Advanced Excel Sheets; comfortable with saved searches, formulas, pivots.
- Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.
- Travel will be required.
- NetSuite administration/developer experience (SuiteFlow, saved searches, forms; SuiteScript familiarity a plus).
- Integration tools (e.g., Celigo, Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft).
- SSO/IAM (Okta or Azure AD), MFA, and security best practices.
- Industry experience in insurance, brokerage, or financial services.
- Exposure to SOX frameworks, ITIL practices, and project management (Agile/Lean).
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Accounting/Finance, or related field; CPA/accounting background is a plus.
