Success Education Colleges is seeking a driven, student‑focused Administrative Assistant / Nursing Education \& Retention Specialist (NERS) to support our Post‑Licensure RN Programs. Position Summary

- Welcome and assist visitors, students, and staff with professionalism and care
- Serve as a key point of contact for student and departmental inquiries
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, organizing, shredding, and photocopying
- Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and statistical data for the Nursing Department
- Create, update, and maintain departmental forms and website materials
- Manage departmental calendars, schedule meetings, send notices, and arrange travel
- Answer phones, monitor voicemail and email, and manage incoming/outgoing mail and faxes
- Review outgoing materials for accuracy, completeness, and required approvals
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision
- Provide education navigation and individualized student support
- Develop and deliver structured workshops and classes on:
- Maintain scheduled office hours to assist students with coursework, progression, and academic challenges
- Collaborate with Admissions, Registrar, and Financial Aid to support student success and belonging
- Act as a liaison between faculty and students
- Assist faculty in identifying high‑risk students and implementing appropriate interventions
- Support student compliance with college and nursing department policies

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Knowledge of nursing education programs and nursing principles
- High attention to detail with excellent proofreading and data‑entry skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with office equipment and administrative systems
- Strong computer skills including:
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Professional discretion, judgment, and organization skills

- College diploma or equivalent required
- Prior administrative experience in education or healthcare strongly preferred
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (Moodle preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities

The Administrative Assistant / NERS provides advanced administrative and student‑support services to the Dean of Post‑Licensure RN Programs, the Post‑Licensure Nursing Department, and RN‑BSN and MSN students. This role blends high‑level administrative support with direct student engagement, education navigation, and retention support.
