We are looking for a sharp, composed, and organized Customer Service\& Dispatch Coordinator to serve as the heartbeat of our plumbing operations. In this role, you aren't just answering phones—you are the vital link between a customer in crisis and the technician who can save the day.
You will manage the daily flow of our service schedule, turning incoming distress calls into efficiently routed work orders. The ideal candidate can balance empathy for a homeowner with a leaking water heater against the logic of a complex technician schedule. Duties
* Customer Engagement: Handle high\-volume inbound calls and emails with a professional and helpful demeanor.
* Strategic Scheduling: Coordinate and optimize the daily schedules of our technicians using our dispatch software.
* Service Coordination: Gather detailed information regarding plumbing issues to ensure technicians are prepared with the right context for each job.
* Follow\-Up: Conduct follow\-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and manage any necessary "Follow\-On" or "Re\-Attend" appointments.
* Data Management: Accurately input and update customer records, job statuses, and billing information within the system.
* Problem Solving: Address customer concerns or scheduling conflicts promptly and effectively to maintain a smooth workflow.
Experience
- Previous experience in a call center environment or customer support role is preferred
- Proven ability to handle outbound calling campaigns with confidence and professionalism
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy in typing and record\-keeping
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—coupled with strong analysis skills for problem\-solving
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and general computer skills required
- Experience in cash handling or point\-of\-sale systems is advantageous
