Overview

Duties
- Maintain and update multiple calendars for attorneys, legal teams, and administrative staff to ensure all appointments, court dates, and meetings are accurately scheduled.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to confirm schedules and resolve conflicts promptly.
- Assist with research related to scheduling conflicts or legal deadlines to support litigation timelines.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports using word processing software to facilitate case management.
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, including logging court dates, client meetings, and filing deadlines into organizational systems.
- Manage filing systems—both electronic and physical—to ensure all legal documents are properly organized and easily accessible.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries related to schedules or case appointments in a professional manner.
- Support clerical duties such as copying, scanning, faxing documents, and handling basic office administrative tasks.
- Handle cash handling responsibilities when necessary for court fees or administrative payments.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information while maintaining meticulous records of appointments and legal proceedings.
- Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role within a legal or office environment.
- Strong research skills with the ability to interpret scheduling conflicts or legal deadlines effectively.
- Paralegal experience or familiarity with litigation processes is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in legal drafting, word processing (such as Microsoft Word), and data entry with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast\-paced setting.
- Previous office experience demonstrating clerical competence including filing, record keeping, and customer service skills.
- Experience with legal administrative tasks such as managing court dates, filings, or case documentation is preferred.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately when required for administrative purposes.
