Job Summary
\\ The Minnesota Department of Transportation does not sponsor applicants for work visas or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment.
In this position you will facilitate the use of Federal\-aid funds by Local Public Agencies or other approved entities. You will ensure that construction plans submitted by Local Public Agencies (LPAs) for Federal Aid funding conform to Federal and State regulations, design standards and practices, and that only eligible items are designated for Federal Aid funding, and State Aid funding if appropriate. You will also coordinate federal fiscal year end project status for project authorization.
This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.

### Minimum Qualifications

Licensure as a Professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). If obtaining licensure through Comity (reciprocity), a practice pending letter from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.
