Overview:
JOB SUMMARY: This position primarily provides administrative support to administrative and project teams. The Administrative Assistant will work with highly sensitive, private, and confidential company and personnel information and records. Job requirements include exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, data entry, routinely copying and filing documents, and a clear understanding of the importance of collecting and uniformly filing documents in accordance with the implemented filing matrix and safekeeping protocols. Accordingly, this position must at all times uphold and preserve this confidentiality and secure and safeguard all records. LOCATION: Fairbanks, AK SCHEDULE: Monday \- Friday HOURS: 40\+ POINT OF HIRE: Fairbanks, AK TYPE OF POSITION: Temporary/Full\-Time
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Understand, practice, and continually lead by example Doyon Energy’s commitment to zero incident safety and environmental culture
- Assist with onboarding personnel
- Maintain project\-controlled documents in accordance with instructions from the administrative team
- Database entry as needed daily as directed
- Maintain and follow procedures for collecting, filing, and safekeeping project documentation
- Provide all other clerical assistance to the administrative and project management teams
- Undertake special projects as requested by administrative team members and Admin \& HR Manager
- General filing
- Other duties as assigned

- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year project experience preferred.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of computers and proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Ability to learn, understand, and effectively use client and DES’s corporate management information systems.
