We are seeking a highly motivated and detail\-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Sales Department. This role is best suited for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast\-paced, collaborative business environment and takes ownership of their work. As a key contributor, you will play an integral role in supporting order execution, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Order \& Sales Support
- Manage order entry, change orders, and commercial requests with accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations, Receiving, Accounting, and Shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain organized paper and electronic records in accordance with company standards
- Quickly learn and effectively utilize Powercon’s internal systems, processes, and software to support business objectives
- Monitor, prioritize, and respond to general business emails and requests with professionalism
- Serve as a reliable point of coordination across departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Identify inefficiencies within order entry and administrative workflows and lead improvement initiatives within the scope of the role
- Support costing and pricing activities by learning and applying company pricing models
- Adhere to Powercon’s Quality Management System, departmental goals, and quality policies
- Demonstrate consistent commitment to Powercon’s Ethical Standards of Conduct, including integrity, fairness, and respect
- Provide operational support as required to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met
- Offer temporary support to other departments during peak workloads or special projects
- Learn and support project implementation processes related to Powercon assemblies, ensuring accurate administrative coordination
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including document creation, formatting, spreadsheet management, data analysis, and complex calculations
