More about our team: “Join a high\-volume Internal Medicine clinic where you'll work alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary physician team while making a direct impact on the health of the Keweenaw community.” How you'll contribute A Clinic MA who excels in this role: Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communication changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas. Perform administrative or clerical duties assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration. What we're looking for Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) license required and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include: Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Minimum Work Experience: One\-year related experience, preferred. One year clinic experience, preferred. Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS\-HSP) Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
