Respond swiftly to emergency situations such as trauma incidents at Level I or Level II trauma centers or critical care environments like ICU or PICU. Support infection control protocols and maintain sterile processing standards during procedures such as laboratory specimen collection or surgical assistance in outpatient settings. Educate patients and families on health management topics including chronic disease management, medication administration, nutrition, and post\-discharge instructions. Experience Proven clinical experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, critical care (ICU/Trauma), or specialized fields such as cardiology or nephrology. Hands\-on experience with advanced medical procedures including cardiac catheterization, dialysis management, gastrostomy feeding tube care, and neonatal resuscitation procedures. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth for documentation and patient data management. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast\-paced environments like emergency rooms or urgent care centers while maintaining high standards of patient safety. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatric patients from neonatal to toddler stages or elderly individuals requiring memory or dementia care. Knowledge of coding systems such as ICD\-10/ICD\-9 for accurate documentation of diagnoses and procedures; CPT coding experience is a plus. Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for surgical assistance or laboratory specimen processing. Previous roles involving long\-term care facilities like nursing homes or assisted living communities are highly valued. Ability to handle complex cases involving pain management, behavioral health issues, occupational health concerns, or post\-acute recovery needs.
