Header Overview Join our dynamic legal team as a Law Clerk or Newly Barred Attorney, where you will play a vital role in supporting a diverse range of legal practices. You will work closely with experienced attorneys to conduct research, draft legal documents, manage case files, and assist with client communications. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies across various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, and civil litigation. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Assist attorneys in managing case files through document review, organization in iManage or similar document management systems, and maintaining accurate records within PCLaw or other case management platforms. Support client communication by preparing updates, scheduling meetings, and handling confidential information with discretion. Participate in client interviews and witness interviews to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases. Manage procedural tasks such as filing documents with courts, data entry, and maintaining organized files both digitally and physically. Collaborate on project management tasks related to ongoing cases or legal initiatives to ensure deadlines are met efficiently. Experience Recent graduation from an accredited law school or admission as a newly barred attorney with active licensure. Prior paralegal experience or legal support experience is highly desirable; familiarity with law office procedures is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law \& regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord\-tenant law, and general \& commercial litigation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Westlaw, LexisNexis, iManage document management system, PCLaw or similar case management software. Strong research skills coupled with excellent legal writing and drafting abilities. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information carefully while managing multiple priorities effectively. Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; attention to detail for proofreading and document review tasks.
