Procurement Officer

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Procurement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the procurement process, ensuring stock availability, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with sales and retail teams. Key Responsibilities: Manage the procurement process to ensure stock availability aligns with sales demands. Liaise regularly with the Sales Manager and Retail Supervisor to forecast needs and plan inventory. Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality. Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking. Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier details, and inventory levels. Work closely with the sales team to identify popular products and adjust procurement strategies accordingly. Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and supplier developments. Requirements: Strong proficiency with MS Dynamics or similar ERP systems. Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or retail purchasing. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with sales and retail teams. Excellent organisational and analytical abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
