Mortgage Loan Processor - Hybrid (Onsite in Santa Ana, CA)

Job Overview: The Loan Processor is responsible for managing the documentation and verification process required to complete consumer loan applications. This role serves as the liaison between borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure all required information is collected, complete, and accurate for loan approval and funding. Responsibilities: Review incoming applications for completeness and accuracy and compliance with internal requirements Collect, verify, and analyze borrower documentation including income, assets, and credit reports. Order and track appraisals, title work, verifications of employment, and other third\-party documentation. Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Underwriting, Compliance, and/or other departments as applicable) to move loans through the pipeline efficiently. Submit complete loan packages for final approval. Enters mortgage loan information into the Loan Origination System, including running credit reports and data entry. Work closely with Loan Officer and Underwriting to obtain required information to prepare the loan for closing. Performs a variety of clerical duties including review, organization and processing of new files and related loan documentation. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and investor guidelines. Identify and resolve issues that could delay loan approval or closing. Update loan files and tracking systems in a timely manner. Prepare and submit files to underwriting. Monitor and follow up on conditions to ensure timely loan closings. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in Loan processing role minimum 2 years. Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products, documentation requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Good attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with loan origination software and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and problem\-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment. Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
