· Answer phones and take messages from members, visitors, and community contacts in a timely and professional manner. · Schedule appointments for staff members and maintain church calendars. · Prepare and distribute documents including newsletters, bulletins, and pamphlets. \- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet), with the ability to create, organize, and manage collaborative documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and virtual meetings to support efficient team communication and workflow. \- Active member of North Bay Community Church, contributing to community\-focused initiatives, fostering positive relationships, and supporting organizational values through consistent participation and service. \- Demonstrates familiarity with or willingness to learn a range of AI\-powered tools and platforms—including Copilot, ChatGPT, Gamma, CapCut, and others—to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, support creative content development, and improve overall efficiency in daily tasks. · Perform general administrative tasks including filing, copying, data entry, and office organization. · Process incoming and outgoing correspondence and oversee bulk mailings. · Serve as receptionist by greeting visitors in a warm, hospitable manner. · Ensure proper operation of printers, copiers, computers, scanners, folding machines, and other office equipment. · Order office supplies and maintain inventory. · Assist with church database, membership records, and confidential files. · Support pastor, staff, committees, and volunteers with administrative needs. Job Skills and Requirements · Profess the Christian faith and affirm the mission and values of NBCC. · Five years of relevant work experience or equivalent education and experience. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). · Knowledge of common office equipment and technology. · Strong organizational, communication, and time\-management skills. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively. · Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. · Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Evaluation and Compensation The Office Administrator works directly under the Business Manager and receives an annual performance evaluation. Compensation is reviewed annually by the appropriate church leadership. Pay: $42,000\.00 per year Benefits: Health savings account Paid time off Work Location: In person
