Operations Manager - artificial intelligence legal SaaS company - high growth

One of my high growth tech clients has created a new role for a Operations Manager to partner directly with the COO \& CEO. Over the last 18 months the team has grown from 18 in 2025 to 35 by the end of the year and so far in 2026 they have added 15 additional team members. This is a hybrid role blending high\-level strategic planning with hands\-on tactical execution. You will step into a fast\-paced artificial intelligence software environment to refine day\-to\-day business mechanics, break down departmental silos, eliminate process bottlenecks, and design scalable frameworks that grow alongside the business. Key Responsibilities: Operational Excellence \& Scale ● Oversee daily business operations to ensure flawless execution across all cross\-functional departments. ● Audit, architect, and document internal operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). ● Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business health metrics to support executive decision\-making. ● Proactively identify friction points within the business and implement scalable solutions. Cross\-Functional Synchronization ● Bridge communication and workflows across core departments (Product, Engineering, Service Delivery, Sales, Marketing) and Business Services (Legal, Procurement, Accounting/Finance, HR, IT, Compliance). ● Coordinate corporate initiatives, ensuring product roadmaps and sales targets align perfectly with operational capabilities. ● Act as a trusted partner to leadership, facilitating strategic planning and translating vision into execution. Automation \& Tech Stack Optimization ● Evaluate, implement, and manage internal operational systems and SaaS toolsets. ● Leverage modern AI\-enabled productivity platforms to automate manual tasks and optimize cross\-department workflows. Project, Resource, \& Vendor Management ● Track project deliverables, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on\-time, in\-scope delivery. ● Manage vendor relations, streamline operational procurement, and optimize third\-party SaaS expenditures. ● Partner with HR to support team growth, from headcount planning to building a world\-class onboarding experience. ● Maintain strict compliance, internal documentation, and operational records. Total compensation package: base salary \+ company performance year end bonus \+ equity share ownership of the company \+ 401k match \+ 3 months paid maternity leave \+ health insurance premiums paid ranging from 95% to 99% by the company. Please note this is a venture capital back company which has been cash flow positive for several years and gearing up to double the company over the next 12 months. There will be occasional on site meetings with the entire operations.
