We are seeking a Authorization Specialist to join our team. Remote position open to candidates residing in Pennsylvania. Pay rate starting at $17\.50/hr Position Details: The Authorization Specialist performs all functions associated with the entire registration process of consumers, financial set\-up of consumers insurance, consumer eligibility checking and all authorization related functions. The Authorization Specialist will: Proactively identify, analyze, and resolves issues to facilitate the efficient and timely entry of authorizations, consumer registration and consumer eligibility checking. Regularly communicate with management, staff and all other stakeholders with relevant information, feedback and issues relating to their respective programs and processes. Handle all aspects of entering authorizations and registrations into the core billing system within established timeframes for all programs and perform quality control verification on all authorizations entered. Perform all aspects of eligibility verification checking and associated functional tasks. Perform all aspects of consumer registration into the core billing system related to demographics, consumer financial information, etc. Facilitate and coordinate all processes relating to both receipt and distribution of documents, reports, etc. from programs and sites to the Central Business Office relating to Authorizations, Financial Set\-up, registration and eligibility checking. Diploma or GED with an Associate Degree in Business Administration preferred Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
