Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) \- Independent Contractor San Antonio, TX \| Flexible Schedule \| 1099 \-\-\- About This Opportunity Mind Your Self Counseling is a therapist\-centered, 11\-year\-old practice in San Antonio built on one core belief: clinicians do their best work when they're free to focus on clients, not paperwork. We are looking for fully licensed mental health providers (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) who are passionate about delivering high\-quality, evidence\-informed care and ready to build or grow a caseload in a supportive, well\-resourced environment. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible scheduling and a competitive 65/35 compensation split. You bring the clinical expertise. We handle everything else. \-\-\- What You'll Do · Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations for a diverse client population · Develop and implement individualized, evidence\-based treatment plans grounded in sound clinical judgment · Deliver individual, couples, or family therapy using appropriate therapeutic modalities aligned with client needs · Monitor client progress and adjust interventions to reflect measurable treatment goals · Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards · Uphold professional ethics, healthy therapeutic boundaries, and best practices in confidentiality and informed consent · Collaborate with the Mind Your Self team when consultation or coordination of care is appropriate · Manage your own caseload proactively — setting your schedule, tracking your availability, and owning your outcomes \-\-\- What We Handle So You Don't Have To We know administrative burden is one of the biggest reasons great therapists burn out or leave private practice. We take care of the rest. \-\-\- Required Qualifications · Active, unrestricted Texas licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC (no associate licenses at this time) · Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, differential diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention · Strong working knowledge of DSM\-5\-TR diagnostic criteria and treatment planning · Commitment to professional ethics, scope of practice, and appropriate therapeutic boundaries · Self\-directed work style with the ability to manage a caseload independently and accountability · Availability to see clients in person at our San Antonio office at least one day per week (Monday–Saturday availability) WE NEED EVENINGS AND WEEKEND THERAPISTS AND ARE ESPECIALLY INTERESTED IN LMFT'S FOR IN PERSON \-\-\- Preferred Qualifications · Experience with a specific population or specialty area (trauma, couples, adolescents, anxiety and mood disorders, etc.) · Familiarity with telehealth platforms and hybrid service delivery · Experience working in outpatient, intensive outpatient, or community mental health settings · History of maintaining a consistent private\-pay or insurance\-based caseload \-\-\- Compensation \& Benefits · 65/35 split in your favor on all collected revenue \- paydays are the 5th and 20th · Flexible scheduling \- you set your hours within our Monday–Saturday office availability · Free CEUs provided to support your continued licensure and professional growth · Access to an extensive clinical resource library, including validated screening tools, treatment manuals, and evidence\-based frameworks · Reduced administrative overhead so your time stays focused on billable, meaningful work \-\-\- A Note for Clinicians in Transition If you are navigating the uncertainty of Laurel Ridge's impending closure, or if you've found that vertically aligned platforms like Alma aren't delivering the autonomy and support you expected, we want you to know there's a well\-established, clinician\-first option right here in San Antonio.
