This role offers the flexibility of remote work for Ohio residents, with an initial three\-month onsite training period to ensure you are fully equipped for success. As an OSUP employee, you will be eligible for these various benefits depending on your employment status. Responsibilities: What will you do? Speak with patients to assess their needs through actively listening to their concerns and questions and making appropriate recommendations and clarifications. Coordinate outpatient appointments across multiple specialties including routine visits, urgent and emergency issues and associated testing. Work with callers to resolve complex problems by gaining an understanding of large scale operational processes. Become a subject matter expert, understanding the nuanced processes of determining appropriate appointment needs and provider preferences. Utilize software systems to facilitate patient interactions. Provide outstanding customer service to callers through listening, empathy and understanding the needs of each individual patient. Help promote a culture of positivity and team work across your team. Motivated contributor who is comfortable working in an office atmosphere. * High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prior healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
