Home Improvement Studio is a growing remodeling showroom and licensed general contractor specializing in kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, fireplaces, and full\-home renovations throughout the Greater Sacramento area. We are looking for a highly organized, detail\-oriented, and customer\-focused Administrative Assistant to become an essential part of our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment, thrives on organization, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our clients while supporting our sales, design, project management, and operations teams to ensure every remodeling project runs smoothly from the initial inquiry through project completion. Responsibilities Welcome clients into our showroom and provide a professional first impression. Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and text messages promptly and professionally. Schedule showroom appointments, in\-home consultations, and follow\-up meetings. Coordinate calendars for designers, estimators, project managers, and sales staff. Create and maintain accurate customer files and project documentation. Prepare proposals, contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documents. Assist with vendor communications, material ordering, and delivery scheduling. Update customer information and project progress in JobTread and other company software. Track permits, inspections, and project milestones. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. Assist with accounts receivable, invoices, and customer payments. Follow up with clients throughout their remodeling projects to ensure excellent customer service. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members. Support marketing efforts by requesting customer reviews and assisting with showroom events. Keep the showroom organized, stocked, and presentation\-ready. Perform general administrative and office support duties as needed. Qualifications Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Coordinator, or Customer Service Representative preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time\-management abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast\-paced construction and retail environment. Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general computer applications. Experience with CRM or construction management software (JobTread, Buildertrend, Builder Prime, or similar) is a plus. Experience in construction, remodeling, flooring, cabinetry, or interior design is highly preferred. Bilingual (English/Russian, English/Romanian, or English/Spanish) is a plus.
