Position Summary: The Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming healthcare data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision\-making, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory reporting, grant deliverables, and operational performance across Elevated Community Health (ECH). This position partners with clinical, operational, quality, finance, and IT teams to develop dashboards, analyze trends, improve data quality, and ensure accurate reporting from multiple healthcare information systems. This role supports ECH's Access, Stewardship, and Quality (ASQ) framework by producing reliable data that helps leaders evaluate patient access, strengthen responsible use of organizational resources, monitor quality outcomes, and advance continuous improvement. The Data Analyst assists the organization in using data to improve patient outcomes, support compliance readiness, and promote accountability across service lines. The Data Analyst must demonstrate regard for the rights of all patients and provide respectful and considerate support focused on patient privacy, confidentiality, and the individual needs of patients, families, staff, and community partners. This role is expected to maintain a safe, professional, and confidential environment when working with patient, employee, operational, and organizational data. Essential Functions: Data Analytics \& Reporting + Analyze clinical, operational, financial, quality, and population health data using SQL, statistical methods, and reporting tools. + Design, develop, validate, and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analyses that support leadership decision\-making and ASQ priorities. + Identify trends, variances, opportunities, and risks and present actionable insights in a clear and accessible manner. + Develop reporting specifications based on business needs, regulatory requirements, grant requirements, and quality improvement goals. + Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate recurring analyses, enhance data quality, and support operational efficiency.Database, Data Quality \& Systems Support + Manage reporting datasets and support ongoing maintenance of healthcare reporting systems, databases, and analytics tools. + Validate, clean, reconcile, and troubleshoot data integrity issues across electronic health record, dental, population health, and reporting platforms. + Develop standardized query, reporting, and documentation practices to support consistency, accuracy, and sustainability of reporting processes. + Perform data mapping, validation, measure review, and reporting support within Azara DRVS and other organizational data systems. + Support secure and appropriate use of confidential patient, employee, and organizational data in alignment with ECH policies and applicable privacy requirements.Collaboration \& Performance Improvement + Partner with clinical, operational, quality, finance, and leadership teams to develop intuitive dashboards, data visualizations, and reports that communicate key performance metrics. + Collaborate with service line leaders and end users to enhance workflows that improve data capture, reporting accuracy, patient access, quality outcomes, and operational performance. + Gather, document, and translate reporting requirements from stakeholders into usable reports, dashboards, and analytic work products. + Support quality assurance, quality improvement, population health, value\-based care, and practice transformation initiatives through accurate and timely data analysis. + Present findings and recommendations to support data\-driven decision\-making, accountability, and continuous improvement across ECH.Regulatory Reporting \& Compliance + Serve as a reporting subject matter expert for UDS, grant reporting, QA/QI initiatives, RAE, VBP, PCMH, population health reporting, and other required reporting as assigned. + Support preparation, validation, and submission of required reports by ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timely follow\-through. + Maintain working knowledge of state, federal, payer, grant, and agency reporting requirements applicable to community health center operations. + Collaborate with leadership and quality teams to prepare data for audits, regulatory reviews, site visits, and organizational performance reporting. Additional Requirements: Grants are a vital part of ECH's revenues and directly or indirectly support all positions. This role may have responsibilities that are closely associated with grant deliverables. Grants and grant responsibilities may change over time. Complete all required training as designated by HR and the position supervisor. Adhere to all organization policies and those outlined in the ECH Employee Handbook. Comply with all ECH vaccine mandates. Willingness to travel and work at other ECH locations as determined by the supervisor. Comply with all applicable Credentialing and Privileging requirements in a timely manner, if applicable to the position. Complete additional duties as assigned by the position supervisor. Must participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities when applicable. Education/Experience: Must\-Haves to be successful: Bachelor's degree in computer science, health information management, data analytics, public health, healthcare administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least one (1\) year of experience as a data analyst or in a closely related analytics/reporting role. At least one (1\) year of experience in a clinical healthcare setting or equivalent healthcare reporting environment. Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries, including joins, filtering, aggregations, and reporting against relational databases. Experience utilizing Microsoft Access, Crystal Reports, and one or more business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Tableau. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience working with relational databases and reporting tools. Ability to define complex problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and communicate findings clearly. Ability to exercise independent judgment, self\-direct work, remain organized, and manage competing priorities in a fast\-paced healthcare environment. Ability to reason objectively, assess data needs, project reporting requirements, and plan work to support organizational priorities. Knowledge of state, federal, agency, payer, and grant reporting requirements applicable to healthcare operations. Ability to document concisely, accurately, and in a timely manner. Ability to handle a variety of duties that may be interrupted or changed by immediate circumstances. Ability to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, co\-workers, administration, physicians, providers, community agencies, referral sources, regulators, and other health team members. Ability to enlist the cooperation of others and support collaborative, data\-driven problem solving. Ability to read, write, and clearly speak the English language. Nice to Have: Experience using Epic EHR, Dentrix EDR, Azara DRVS, or other healthcare reporting platforms. Previous experience in a Community Health Center, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), or safety\-net healthcare environment. Previous non\-profit experience. Experience supporting UDS, grant reporting, value\-based care, PCMH, RAE, population health, or quality improvement reporting. Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: The work environment is a healthcare setting that can be fast\-paced and involves communication with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative personnel. This role includes significant administrative, analytical, and technical responsibilities and may also involve work in a clerical or remote setting as approved.
