Operations \& Fleet Manager (Part\-Time \| Work From Home) Location: Richmond, VA (Must reside in or near the Richmond area) Employment Type: Part\-Time Compensation: Starting at $500/week plus performance bonuses based on driver recruitment and operational success. About Us Comfort Limo Express is a growing student transportation company partnered with EverDriven to provide safe, reliable transportation for students throughout the Richmond area. We’re looking for a dependable, organized Operations \& Fleet Manager to lead our Richmond transportation operations. This is a primarily work\-from\-home leadership position responsible for recruiting drivers, managing daily operations, coordinating dispatch, responding to EverDriven rescue requests, and ensuring students receive safe, reliable transportation. You’ll work directly with the company’s founder and have the opportunity to help build and shape our Virginia operations from the ground up. As our company grows, this position has the opportunity to expand into a larger leadership role overseeing additional Virginia markets. Position Summary This is a part\-time, work\-from\-home position centered around school transportation hours. All administrative responsibilities—including recruiting, interviewing, dispatching, driver communication, compliance follow\-up, scheduling, and answering EverDriven rescue calls—are performed remotely from your home office. When operational needs require, you must also be willing and able to personally transport students using your own insured vehicle to ensure routes remain covered. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operations, recruiting, logistics, leadership, and problem\-solving while working independently. Responsibilities Driver Recruiting Recruit qualified independent contractor drivers throughout the Richmond area Post and manage job advertisements across multiple platforms Conduct phone interviews and candidate screenings Schedule and conduct in\-person interviews when needed Build relationships with community organizations, churches, local businesses, and networking groups to generate driver leads Maintain an active recruiting pipeline Driver Onboarding \& Compliance Guide drivers through EverDriven’s contractor compliance process Track required documentation including insurance, driver’s licenses, vehicle inspections, and background checks Follow up with applicants until compliance is successfully completed Coordinate onboarding and prepare drivers for their first day Ensure drivers are fully cleared and ready to begin transporting students Daily Operations \& Dispatch Coordinate morning and afternoon transportation operations Assign and communicate routes to drivers Handle driver call\-outs and last\-minute scheduling changes Ensure all assigned student trips are successfully covered Maintain communication with drivers throughout the day EverDriven Rescue Trips EverDriven may contact our company with last\-minute rescue trip opportunities. Responsibilities include: Answering rescue calls between approximately 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Quickly identifying available drivers Dispatching rescue trips Monitoring trip completion Communicating updates with EverDriven Ensuring rescue requests are handled quickly and professionally Driver Management Serve as the primary point of contact for Richmond drivers Build positive relationships with drivers Improve driver retention Assist drivers with operational questions Resolve day\-to\-day scheduling issues Route Coverage This is a working management position. When necessary, the Operations \& Fleet Manager must be willing and able to personally cover student transportation routes using their own insured vehicle to ensure students receive reliable transportation. Morning Operations 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM Afternoon Operations 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Outside of these operating windows, recruiting, interviews, compliance follow\-up, and other administrative tasks may be completed from home on a flexible schedule. Compensation Starting at $500/week base pay \+$25 bonus for every driver who successfully completes the onboarding process and is fully cleared to begin driving Opportunities for additional performance bonuses as the company grows and operational goals are achieved Performance Expectations Performance in this role will be evaluated based on: Successfully recruiting and onboarding qualified drivers Maintaining a strong pipeline of driver candidates Driver retention and engagement Consistent route coverage with minimal service disruptions Timely response to EverDriven rescue trip requests Effective communication with drivers and EverDriven Overall operational reliability and professionalism This is a results\-oriented leadership position. The Operations \& Fleet Manager plays a critical role in ensuring our drivers are supported, our students receive reliable transportation, and our partnership with EverDriven continues to grow.
