Collaborates with all disciplines and administration to assure effectiveness and efficiency in provision of services in a culturally competent and customer friendly environment. Supervises and instructs PH and Immunization team members. Maintains audit and training records, manages electronic health record for clients seen at the health department, and completes EPMS for individual staff under direct supervision. Provides regular feedback and appraisal of performance and documents feedback and appraisals. Meets, interviews, and direct public health clients in accordance with program policies and procedures for Medical Records and records managment, processes information, completes medical records and enters all client information into applicable electronic applications. Answers telephones and schedules appointments as needed. Ensures that staff comply with program and agency guidelines. Ensures compliance with agency guidelines for billing, medical records, Electronic Health Record (EHR), CARES, and other documentation. Follow established guidelines around HIPPA, customer service, and cultural competency. Attend relevant program and agency trainings and meetings. Maintains CPR, AED, and First Aid Training for response to MEPS (Medical Equipment Power Shelters). Ensures necessary materials and resources are available for admin under direct supervision. Prepares and submits required reports. Complete other duties as assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements --------------------------------------- State Minimum Requirements:A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience. Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications, subject to approval by the DPH Chief Human Resources Officer or their designee. Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Preferred Qualifications ---------------------------- One (1\) year of supervisory experience. One (1\) year of experience with Medicaid, Medicare, or other third\-party insurance billing.
