Job Posting for “Patient Services Coordinator” The Center for Valued Living, PLLC (C4VL) is hiring a local (Colorado\-based) P/T Patient Service Coordinator (PSC) to join our team (in Aurora/Denver, CO). Bilingual Spanish/ English applicants only, please, as the job requires this skillset. C4VL is a Colorado\-based mental health private practice with 35\+ therapists in the Aurora/ Denver/ CO Springs metro \+ areas; our providers take most major insurances including Medicaid. THIS POSITION IS CAN BE HYBRID – IN\-PERSON A FEW DAYS (AURORA or DENVER, CO) OR REMOTE. C4VL mission: C4VL is dedicated to providing accessible, insurance\-based mental health care to diverse clients across Colorado, with a focus on underserved and underrepresented populations. We serve individuals aged 3 and up, using anti\-racist, neurodivergent\-affirming, and queer\-allied principles to create a powerfully reparative and healing environment. The C4VL PSC role is very “customer\-centric” and provides a positive patient experience whenever engaging with a client. The PSC is the first point of contact for potential clients looking for a new mental health provider or for current clients who may need further assistance on billing / insurance or other questions. This position requires that the PSC is comfortable with being on the phone with and emailing clients, insurance companies and/or providers. Provider support is also essential to this role; our providers are amazing and you will love working with them! We also have an amazing admin team with whom you would work! PRIMARY / TYPICAL DUTIES typically include: Provide patient support by answering phones, managing voicemails, and responding to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling, insurance eligibility verification, and preauthorization processes Assist in screening specific service inquiries and directing them appropriately, including performing initial eligibility checks Manage incoming and outgoing physical mail for the office location Set up and maintain client portal access for patients Assist with internal audits by reviewing provider files and documentation (shared via digital audit tools) Order, stock, and organize supplies to support in\-person office operations Maintain and update internal referral resources and provider lists to ensure accuracy Perform ongoing commercial insurance verifications and follow up with clients as needed Serve as backup for managing digital communications such as faxes, record requests, and virtual mail services Complete routine compliance and administrative tasks, including monthly checks of federal databases Attend and participate in regular staff and task coordination meetings Monitor and address payment issues, including declined transactions and related account notes Support Spanish\-speaking clients and engage with Spanish\-speaking communities through outreach and communication Complete ad hoc administrative projects and provide general office support as assigned CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES / EXPERIENCE: Be located in Colorado, near Aurora and Denver, CO Bachelor Degree Bilingual English/Spanish speaking (REQUIRED) Previous administrative, medical or mental health reception experience (preferred) Have reliable internet and phone when working from home; computer may be provided Professional skill set: Ability to work independently in\-office and in a remote environment; Exceptional phone and interpersonal skills (compassionate); Solid verbal and written communication skills; Good memory for and attention to details; Exceptional multitasking and time\-management skills; Ability to prioritize tasks; Knowledge of insurance companies and how they work (preferred but training will be provided) Must be comfortable handling and responding appropriately to client escalations or crises and collaborating with supervisor, as necessary – training provided Professional qualities: Tech savvy – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive; ability to navigate project management software and “pick up” other programs / software with relative ease (will receive training) Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and typical protocols (preferred) – training provided Personal qualities: Professional, team\-oriented, organized, dependable, personable, warm, empathic, courteous, engaging, resilient, good sense of humor, collaborative, justice\-minded, enthusiastic, dependable, proactive, accountable, flexible, efficient, adaptable Work is a mix of part time, M\-F, Morning shifts from 9\-1 (about 20 hours per week) (Perfect for someone with kids in school!) 20 hrs a week P/T W2 position Pay \- $20/hr to start; negotiable DOE Please submit your resume / CV and a cover letter Job Type: Part\-time Pay: From $20\.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule On\-the\-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid jury duty Paid sick time Paid training Parental leave Work from home Medical Specialty: Psychiatry Application Question(s): Are you bilingual?
