Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Electrical Office Manager to oversee the administrative and operational functions of our electrical services team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations, efficient project coordination, and effective communication across departments. You will be the backbone of our office environment, facilitating everything from scheduling and vendor relations to human resources and bookkeeping, all while maintaining a lively, motivated atmosphere.
Duties
- Manage daily office operations, including front desk duties, multi\-line phone systems, and calendar management to ensure seamless communication and scheduling.
- Oversee project documentation, filing systems, and record\-keeping related to electrical projects, vendor contracts, and employee files.
- Coordinate event planning for team meetings, training sessions, and company events to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing training \& development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Oversee human resources functions including onboarding new employees, managing payroll processes, and supporting employee relations initiatives.
- Assist with budgeting activities by tracking expenses, preparing financial reports, and ensuring cost\-effective office operations.
- Maintain excellent communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.
- Support office management duties if applicable, including appointment scheduling.
- Ensure office supplies are stocked, manage clerical tasks such as filing and data entry, and uphold high standards of phone etiquette.
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within a fast\-paced environment.
- Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and staff development.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks for invoicing and expense tracking.
- Strong schedule management skills to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of human resources processes including payroll administration and employee onboarding.
- Excellent communication skills paired with organizational prowess to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.
