The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full\-cycle recruitment process for technical, clerical, administrative, trades, and management positions across the company as staffing needs arise. This role partners closely with hiring managers to identify recruiting needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and attract qualified candidates. The ideal candidate possesses strong interviewing and relationship\-building skills, knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices, and the ability to manage multiple openings in a fast\-paced environment.
Remote or office based (dependent on location) environment with occasional travel for recruiting events, job fairs, branch visits, and community outreach activities.

Essential Duties \& Responsibilities
- Manage full\-cycle recruiting for a variety of positions throughout the company.
- Process and manage job requisitions in a timely manner.
- Partner with hiring managers to determine recruiting needs, candidate qualifications, and effective hiring strategies.
- Source candidates through job boards, company website postings, community partnerships, vendors, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct phone, virtual, and in\-person interviews.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Conduct employment and reference verifications.
- Extend verbal contingent job offers and assist with the onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking and recruitment records.
- Prepare and complete daily and weekly recruiting activity reports.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, vendors, and recruiting partners to support talent acquisition efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, federal and multi\-state employment laws, and applicable labor regulations.
- Assist with additional Human Resources and recruiting\-related projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in recruiting roles, specifically recruitment negotiation and preferably within organizations supporting a variety of employee types including non\-exempt, professional, and skilled trades positions.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel out of state as needed.
- Experience recruiting within both union and non\-union environments preferred.
- Experience in construction services or related industries is a plus.
- Current and relevant understanding of employment laws, hiring regulations, and union negotiations.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), background check platforms, and other web\-based recruiting tools preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interviewing, negotiation, and candidate evaluation abilities.
- Analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret information from multiple sources.
- Ability to develop creative and effective recruiting solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to build relationships with hiring managers, candidates, vendors, and external partners.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Self\-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast\-paced environment.
