Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) is a non\-profit corporation partnering with the State of California Department of Developmental Services. CVRC provides case management and service coordination by identifying resources, programs and activities to refer individuals to in collaboration with other agencies to develop the best services for individuals served and their families. CVRC serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and children at risk to support and promote community inclusion. CVRC provides case management for individuals residing in the Central Valley, covering six counties that include Fresno, Tulare, Merced, Kings, Mariposa, and Madera.

Starting Pay: $122,917\.46 – $146,769\.88/annually.

UPOSITION OVERVIEW

This position assists in organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the delivery of eligibility determination services within CVRC and carries out policies and procedures in the area of intake and clinical services with focused resource development to support those roles. Serves as a member of the CVRC Senior Leadership Team maintaining an adequate skill level in interpersonal relationships.

UESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Supervises, directs, guides, and supports Intake and Clinical staff.
  • Reviews, and develops improved and efficient processes.
  • Assists the Director of Clinical services in managing daily operations of clinical departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Analyzes clinical data and patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Participates in the planning, development, compliance and implementation of agency policies, procedures, and operational practices. May supervise additional grants and programs as assigned.
  • Participates in strategic planning to align intake and clinical services with the organization’s mission and growth plans.
  • Leads or supports clinical projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinates with other departments to optimize resource utilization, scheduling, and patient flow.
  • Attends Board of Directors meetings, all managers meeting and as requested represents CVRC at statewide ARCA \& DDS meetings.
  • Responsible for completion of statewide monitoring and compliance reports (intake timelines.)
  • Collaborates on Early Start Monitoring Reviews as it relates to intake documentation.
  • Provides presentations and information, as well as representing CVRC on local community committees.
  • Oversees training for Intake Staff.
  • Oversees training for outsourced vendors.
  • Monitors Intake regulatory changes and coordinate appropriate response and implementation.
  • Attends Intake and Intervention meetings with other RCs.
  • Provides ongoing assessment of Intake and needs for the agency.
  • Provides quarterly data reports and trends to Executive Leadership Team on a regular basis.
  • Executes management responsibilities.
  • Collaboration with the Clinical Team
  • Serves as a liaison between intake, clinical teams, and external partners to facilitate effective communication and resource sharing.
  • Supports effective and efficient business practice.

  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises, supports, and Program Managers of Intake services.
  • Supervises, supports, and directs clinical psychologists.
  • Supervises, supports, and directs Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
  • Participates in evaluating, hiring, and coordinating employee orientation and training of assigned staff and other employees.
  • Displays leadership by taking responsibility for actions and supporting agency initiatives and policies toward agency mission and goals.
  • Works effectively to resolve employee conflicts, address poor employee performance, implement disciplinary measures and corrective action plans, in consultation with Human Resources and the Leadership Team.
  • Employs management principles that result in effective leadership.
  • Approves the hiring of case management staff.
  • Provides professional and technical direction, advice, and support to staff to help them effectively manage and complete their job duties and provide services.
  • Promotes good working relationships and teamwork among staff.
  • Ensures staff meet required timelines and complete documentation in timely manner.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation counseling, or related field with 10 years’ experience in a related field OR master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation counseling, or related field with 5 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Must have at least 4 years of verified supervisory or management experience.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply principles of management, organization, personnel administration, and supervision.
  • Knowledge of program budgeting.
  • Knowledge of the rights and needs of the developmentally disabled.
  • Knowledge of Intake philosophies and practices.
  • Knowledge of clinical operations, healthcare regulations, and quality improvement processes.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of staff, individuals and their families and community agencies.
  • Understanding of disabilities and related conditions.
  • Ability to prioritize varied work assignments and complete documentation within required timelines.
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate complex clinical workflows.
  • Ability to use computer and software for documentation, management information systems, e\-mail, and other required computerized functions.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, self\-motivation, sound independent judgment, flexibility, strong interpersonal, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have a valid CA driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual skills desirable.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare data analytics.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards such as The Joint Commission or CARF.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent clinical credential.
  • UTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have the ability to travel within CVRC’s six\-county\-wide region as assigned or required.

UWORKING CONDITIONS

Professional office environment. Noise level in the office is low to moderate depending on area. Individual workspace assigned and varies from open cubicle to private office.
