Job Title: Medical Assistant Specialty: Occupational Health Administration / Medical Support Place of Work: Fort Worth, TX Site: Bureau of Engraving and Printing Western Currency Facility (WCF) Exact Location: 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, TX 76131 Duration: 1 year contract with the possibility of 4 more optional extensions Start Date: September 1, 2026 Shift Schedule: Day Shift only Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Shifts Needed Per Month: Full\-time; approx. 20 22 day shifts per month Certifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
CPR/BLS certification preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or Medical Assistant certification program preferred Experience: 1 2 years of medical office or administrative experience; federal government or occupational health setting preferred Special Skills:
Proficiency in scheduling and medical records management
Experience ordering and tracking medical supplies
Proficiency in Cority Occupational Health and Safety software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to prepare, archive, and maintain confidential medical files Credentialing / Onboarding: 6 to 8 weeks Responsibilities:
Schedule all appointments for medical surveillance and pre/post\-employment physicals
Maintain all patient files and records; finalize reports received from the Lead Nurse
Order medical and office supplies on a monthly basis; track inventory and submit invoices by the 10th of each month
Prepare medical records for archiving when an employee leaves the agency
Organize all health and wellness events, including the WCF Annual Health and Wellness Fair
Assist with preparation and distribution of monthly health and wellness articles
Perform monthly quality control review of data entry practices in Cority software
Support monthly and annual reporting by compiling data and statistics for the Lead Nurse
Ensure compliance with Privacy Act, HIPAA, and OPM medical records requirements
Wear professional medical attire at all times within the facility
Work with web\-based systems, medical software, Cority software, and Microsoft Office Suite
Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Nurse or Medical Director
